The National Dangerous Drugs Control Board (NDDCB) has announced several employment opportunities for Sri Lankan citizens in its latest Gazette notification dated 25 September 2026.
A total of 11 vacancies are available under Middle Management, Junior Management, and Enforcement / Implementation / Extension Officer categories.

๐ Educational Qualifications
External applicants should possess a degree recognized by the University Grants Commission in one of the following fields:
- Sociology
- Psychology
- Criminology
- Social Work
Applicants must also have at least one year of relevant experience after obtaining the relevant degree.
Internal applicants may qualify either by satisfying the external qualifications or by completing a satisfactory five-year service period in a relevant Junior Management Service Category position at the National Dangerous Drugs Control Board.

- Number of Vacancies: 06
- Age Limit: 22โ45 years for external applicants
- Maximum age limit: Not applicable to internal applicants

๐งช Educational Qualifications
External applicants should have obtained a Special Degree in Chemistry recognized by the University Grants Commission.
Internal applicants may qualify through the relevant external qualification or through specified service experience, including five years as an Assistant Scientific Officer or five years as a Grade II Laboratory Technician in the relevant service category.

- Service Category: Enforcement / Implementation / Extension Officer โ MA 5-2
- Number of Vacancies: 02
- Age Limit: 22โ45 years for external applicants
- Maximum age limit: Not applicable to internal applicants
- Salary Scale: Rs. 62,310 โ 111,160
- Salary Code: MA 5-2
๐ฌ Educational Qualifications
External applicants should possess a degree in Chemistry or a subject relevant to the post, recognized by the University Grants Commission.
Internal applicants may qualify through the external qualifications or by completing a satisfactory eight-year service period as a Laboratory Technician in the relevant Management Assistant โ Technological Service Category.
