📢 Independent Television Network Ltd. (ITN) has announced a vacancy for the position of Content Creator – Contract. Applications are invited from eligible Sri Lankan citizens who meet the required educational qualifications and experience.
ITN is one of Sri Lanka’s premier media networks, operating television channels, radio channels and digital media platforms. The selected candidate will contribute to engaging content creation for television and digital platforms.

💰 Contract Allowance: All-inclusive Rs. 65,000/- per month + Commission

📝 Job Description
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- ✍️ Researching, developing, producing and managing engaging content for television and digital platforms.
- 📰 Creating content related to news, current affairs, programmes, live events and promotional campaigns.
- 📋 Ensuring compliance with editorial policies, broadcasting regulations and ethical standards.
- 🖋️ Content writing and scripting.
- 💡 Creative content development.
- 📊 Trend and audience analysis.
- 🔍 SEO optimisation.
- 📱 Social media backend management.
- 🚀 Implementing overall content creation strategies.
- 🤝 Coordinating with Programming and Marketing Divisions to maximize audience reach and engagement.
🎓 Educational Qualifications
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- ✅ Passed 03 subjects at the G.C.E. A/L Examination other than the General Paper.
- 🎓 Diploma in Digital Media, Digital Marketing and Communication or another subject area relevant to the post.
- 💻 Practical knowledge of Digital Platform Administration and backend management.
- 📈 Knowledge of A/B Testing, digital content creation, content management, digital analytics and content delivery.
🧪 Selection Process
Shortlisted applicants will be required to undergo a practical test on content creation and backend management.
📌 Candidates who successfully complete the practical test will be shortlisted for the subsequent interview.
🎂 Age Limit
Applicants should be not less than 18 years and not more than 35 years of age.
💰 Contract Allowance
Rs. 65,000/- per month + Commission
The selected candidates will be recruited on a contract basis for one (01) year. The contract agreement may be renewed yearly based on performance.

- 🏦 Provident Fund contributions – 10% by employee and 15% by employer.
- 📑 3% contribution to the ETF by the employer.
