01. Director Finance – HM 1-1

Number of Vacancies: 01

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should meet one of the following requirements:

Option A

• Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, or
• Membership of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants UK, and
• Membership of Chartered Institute of Certified Accountants UK.

OR

Option B

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy / Commerce / Economics / Management, and
• Master’s Degree in Management.

Experience:

• Minimum 15 years of experience at managerial level in a Government Department, Corporation, Board or reputed private-sector institution.

💰 Salary

HM 1-1: Rs. 140,640 – Rs. 4,100 × 15 – Rs. 202,140/- + Government-approved allowances.

📅 This salary scale will be effective from 01.01.2027.

Salary Step: Rs. 123,019/- as at 01.01.2026, as per MSD Circular 01/2025.

🎁 Other Allowances

• 🚗 Official transport facilities under PED Circular No. 01/2015
• 💼 Professional Allowance
• 📱 Telephone Allowance

🎂 Age Limit

Applicants should be:

• Not less than 35 years
• Not more than 50 years

The upper age limit does not apply to internal candidates.

02. Assistant Director (Monitoring) – MM 1-1

Number of Vacancies: 01

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Commerce or Statistics from a recognized university.
• At least 3 years of post-qualifying experience in the relevant field in a Government Department, Corporation, Board or reputed private-sector institution.

⭐ Preference

Preference will be given to candidates having a First or Second Class Degree.

🌐 Language Requirement

• Ability to work in English is essential.

💰 Salary

MM 1-1: Rs. 91,690 – Rs. 2,480 × 10 – Rs. 3,450 × 15 – Rs. 168,240/- + Government-approved allowances.

📅 This salary scale will be effective from 01.01.2027.

🎁 Other Allowances

• 📱 Telephone Allowance

🎂 Age Limit

Applicants should be:

• Not less than 22 years
• Not more than 45 years

The upper age limit does not apply to internal candidates.
