🎓 Educational Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• A Certificate of Competence as a qualified Pharmacist recognized by the Sri Lanka Medical Council.

💰 Salary

The salary scale for the post is:

U-MT 1 (III) – Rs. 51,095 – 7 × Rs. 540; 10 × Rs. 640 – Rs. 60,575 per month

📅 The above salary scale is applicable from 01.01.2027.

In addition, other allowances approved by the Government will be paid according to the relevant regulations and circulars.

Every applicant should:

✅ Be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
✅ Be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of the post and serve in any part of the island.
✅ Possess excellent moral character.

🏦 Employee Benefits & Contributions

Selected candidates will be required to contribute 10% of their earnings to the University Provident Fund.

The University will contribute:

• 15% of earnings to the University Provident Fund
• 8% of earnings to the University Pension Fund
• 3% to the Employees’ Trust Fund (ETF)

The downloaded application should subsequently be forwarded through the Head of their institution by Registered Post to the Deputy Registrar, Non-Academic Establishments Division, University of Ruhuna.

🔸 Appointments will be made on probation for a period of three (03) years.

🔸 The University reserves the right to shortlist candidates. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for examination and/or interview.

🔸 Depending on the number of applications received, the University reserves the right to determine the selection method, including a written examination, interview or practical test.

🔸 Applications received after the closing date, incomplete applications, applications submitted without payment of the application fee, and applications not submitted in the prescribed format may be rejected without prior notice.
