LECO is a leading electricity distribution utility serving over 650,000 consumers across seven branches in the coastal belt from Negombo to Galle.

🔹 Available Positions

1️⃣ Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

🎓 Educational & Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Certification in ISO 27001 LA or LI, CISSP, or CISM

💼 Experience

• Minimum 9 years’ experience in Information Security
• At least 2 years in a leadership role
• 3+ years managing and auditing critical IT infrastructure

✅ Other Requirements

• Skilled in Technology Risk Management
• Knowledge of Sri Lanka Data Protection & Information Security regulations
• Experience in SIEM, IDB/IPS, vulnerability scanning, encryption, firewall configuration
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of AI & Machine Learning applications in security

🎂 Age Limit

• Below 45 years as at 03rd March 2026

2️⃣ Data Engineer

🎓 Educational & Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Data Engineering, Statistics or related field
• Proficiency in:
  • PL/SQL, Python
  • ETL tools
  • Oracle / SQL Server & non-relational databases
  • Data warehouse & BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)

💼 Experience

• Experience with APIs, RESTful services, Kafka / RabbitMQ
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in data engineering projects

✅ Other Requirements

• Knowledge of utility/energy sector (advantage)
• Ability to work in agile environments
