🔧 Available Government Job Position
The recruitment is conducted to fill 11 vacant Electrical Technician Grade III posts available in Local Government Institutions under the North Central Provincial Public Service. Applications are invited from qualified Sri Lankan citizens who meet the required qualifications.
✅ Educational Qualifications
Applicants should have:
🎓 Passed the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination with at least:
- Six subjects in one sitting
- Including two credit passes
🛠️ Professional Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
⚡ A minimum of National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 2 competency or an equivalent qualification determined by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC) for the relevant post.

✅ Be able to work in any area of the North Central Province
✅ Be Sri Lankan citizens

💰 Salary Scale
Selected candidates will receive the salary scale applicable under Public Administration Circular No. 10/2025:

Rs. 41,800 – 65,560
The salary increments are provided according to the approved government salary structure.

Candidates will be selected through:
🔹 1. Practical Test
A professional practical examination will be conducted to evaluate:

⚙️ Electrical skills
⚙️ Equipment handling ability
⚙️ Maintenance and repair knowledge
⚙️ Safety procedures and proper use of tools
The practical test may include questions and demonstrations related to machinery operation, maintenance, repairs, and equipment usage.
🔹 2. Structured Interview
Candidates who successfully complete the practical test will be called for a structured interview. Final selection will be based on combined marks obtained from the practical test and interview.
