Applicants should have:
✅ Passed the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination in one sitting with three subjects from the Science / Mathematics / Agriculture / Technology streams, including two subjects relevant to the field.
AND
✅ Passed the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination in one sitting with six subjects including:
- Sinhala / Tamil / English language
- Mathematics
- Science
- One other subject
with credit passes as required.
🌱 Professional Qualifications
Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications:
✅ Two-year Agriculture Diploma awarded by an institution recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC)
OR
✅ NVQ Level 6 qualification relevant to the field
OR
✅ Other technical qualifications recognized as equivalent by the relevant authorities.
👤 Age Limit
Applicants must be:
🎂 Minimum Age: 18 years
🎂 Maximum Age: 30 years
Applicants must be Sri Lankan citizens.
📍 Residence Requirement
Applicants should have been permanent residents of the North Central Province for at least 03 years immediately before the closing date.
If sufficient qualified candidates cannot be selected from North Central Province, applications from other provinces may be considered under the conditions mentioned in the Gazette notice.

The salary scale for the Colonization Officer Grade III post is according to:
