NASTEC Finance Officer Vacancy 2026 (JM 1-2) – Apply Before 25 June 2026

The National Science and Technology Commission (NASTEC), operating under the Ministry of Science and Technology, has invited applications from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the post of Finance Officer (JM 1-2). Position Details

Required Qualifications

External Candidates

Applicants should fulfill one of the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor’s Degree in:
   • Finance
   • Commerce
   • Accounting
   • Financial Management
   • Business Administration
   The degree must be recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

OR

2. Have passed the Intermediate Examination of a recognized professional Chartered Institute relevant to the subject area.

Internal Candidates

Applicants should satisfy one of the following requirements:

1. Possess the qualifications required for external candidates.

OR

2. Have completed a minimum of five (05) years of satisfactory service in the post of Management Assistant (Non-Technological) Grade II (MA 1-2) in a relevant subject area.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 22 Years
• Maximum Age: 45 Years
• The upper age limit does not apply to internal candidates.

Salary and Benefits

The selected candidate will receive a salary under the JM 1-2 Salary Scale 2025:

Rs. 74,010 – 124,330

Salary Scale:

• Rs. 74,010 – 10 × 1,360 – 18 × 2,040 – Rs. 124,330
