💰 Salary Scale
According to Management Services Circular No. 04/2025 dated 25.03.2025:
Salary Scale:
Rs. 109,090 – 7×2,940 / 6×3,900 – 153,070
Approximate Initial Gross Monthly Salary: Rs. 197,000/- (Inclusive of allowances)
Note: Salary revision is scheduled for 2027 as per the relevant circular.
🎓 Educational Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Management, or Accountancy from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Additional Professional Qualifications (Advantage)
- Master’s Degree in Financial Management / Accountancy / Procurement from a recognized University or SLIDA.
- Successful completion of CIGAS and ITMIS computer programmes conducted by the Ministry of Finance or SLIDA.
🏢 Experience Requirements
- Completion of 12 years of satisfactory service in Class III/II of the Sri Lanka Accountants’ Service.
- Preference will be given to candidates with Procurement experience.
🎂 Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 25 years
- Maximum Age: 45 years (as at closing date)
Upper age limit does not apply to confirmed Public/Provincial Public Service officers.
