University of Kelaniya Lecturer Vacancies 2026 – Apply Before 25 June

The University of Kelaniya has announced new academic vacancies in the Faculty of Science, Department of Zoology & Environmental Management. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for Lecturer and Senior Lecturer positions. Interested applicants should submit their applications on or before 25 June 2026.

Available Positions

The following academic positions are currently available:

• Lecturer (Probationary)
• Lecturer (Unconfirmed)
• Senior Lecturer Grade II
• Senior Lecturer Grade I

These positions are offered under the Department of Zoology & Environmental Management of the Faculty of Science.

Salary Scale

Lecturer (Probationary)

• Salary: Rs. 94,400 – 118,400 per month
• Salary Code: U-AC 3 (IV)

Lecturer (Unconfirmed)

• Salary: Rs. 121,340 – 136,040 per month
• Salary Code: U-AC 3 (III)

Senior Lecturer Grade II

• Salary: Rs. 136,040 – 171,320 per month
• Salary Code: U-AC 3 (II)

Senior Lecturer Grade I

• Salary: Rs. 160,520 – 187,820 per month
• Salary Code: U-AC 3 (I)

Additional Benefits

Selected candidates will be entitled to:

• Academic Allowance
• Cost of Living Allowance
• Other approved government allowances

These benefits will be paid according to the relevant government circulars and regulations.
