The Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority, under the Ministry of Energy, invites applications from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the post of Assistant Director (Procurement).

This is an excellent opportunity to join the apex national institution driving renewable energy development and energy efficiency improvement in Sri Lanka.

📌 Position: Assistant Director (Procurement) – 1 Post

Appointment will be made to the permanent cadre with government-approved salary scales and allowances.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

🔹 External Candidates

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Management / Accountancy / Commerce recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC)
  AND
• Minimum 01 year post-qualifying experience in Public Service, Corporation, Statutory Board, or reputed private institution in the relevant field

🔹 Internal Candidates (Either 1 or 2)

1. Having obtained the qualifications and experience required by external candidates
   OR
2. Minimum 05 years satisfactory service in Junior Manager category in a relevant subject area with a recognized diploma

💰 Salary & Allowances

Salary Scale:

MM 1-1 – 2025:
Rs. 91,690 – 2,480 x 10 – 3,450 x 15 – 168,240

(Externally recruited candidates will be placed at the initial salary step as per DMS Circular No. 01/2025.)

Other Government-Approved Allowances:

• 💼 Professional Allowance – Rs. 25,000
• 📈 Cost of Living Allowance – Rs. 17,800
• 📱 Mobile Phone Allowance – Rs. 2,000
• 🏥 Medical Insurance Coverage

🎂 Age Limit

• Not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years at the closing date
• Upper age limit does not apply to employees of government corporations/statutory boards/public sector institutions
