The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) is calling for applications from qualified individuals to be appointed as members of the following Provincial Consumer Consultative Committees:

• Western Province
• Southern Province
• Uva Province

📌 About the Appointment

The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka is establishing Provincial Electricity Consumer Consultative Committees to represent electricity consumers and strengthen regulatory engagement at provincial level.

These committees will support consumer protection, regulatory transparency, and public consultation within the electricity sector.

🎯 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should:

✔ Be permanent residents of the relevant province
✔ Possess sound knowledge or experience in electricity, engineering, law, finance, economics, consumer affairs or related fields
✔ Be capable of contributing independently and professionally
✔ Be persons of integrity and good character

📄 Required Qualifications & Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• Experience in public service, regulatory affairs, consumer rights, electricity sector, or policy matters
• Professional qualifications relevant to electricity, engineering, economics, law, finance or management
• Strong analytical and communication skills

🗓 03 March 2026
