The Provincial Department of Agriculture North Central Province has called for applications from qualified officers of the Sri Lanka Agricultural Service to fill several senior vacancies.

Eligible and suitably qualified officers are invited to apply on or before the closing date.

1️⃣ Provincial Director of Agriculture

• Service Category: Sri Lanka Agricultural Service – Grade I
• No. of Posts: 01

Qualifications:

• Must be an officer in Grade I of the Sri Lanka Agricultural Service
• Minimum 03 years’ experience in Grade I
• Must belong to the Agricultural Development stream

2️⃣ Additional Director of Agriculture

• Service Category: Sri Lanka Agricultural Service – Grade I
• No. of Posts: 01

Qualifications:

• Must be an officer in Grade I of the Sri Lanka Agricultural Service
• Minimum 03 years’ experience in Grade I
• Must belong to the Agricultural Development stream

3️⃣ Deputy Director of Agriculture

• Service Category: Sri Lanka Agricultural Service – Grade II
• No. of Posts: 03

Qualifications:

• Must be an officer in Grade II of the Sri Lanka Agricultural Service
• Minimum 03 years’ experience in Grade II
• Must belong to the Agricultural Development stream

📝 General Requirements

✔ Applicants must not have faced disciplinary action within the last 05 years
✔ Age limits are not applicable
✔ All required qualifications must be completed by the closing date
✔ Must have satisfactory service and earned salary increments during the preceding 05 years

Recruitment will be based on:

• Performance evaluations (last 05 years)

Final appointments will be made according to the approval of the North Central Provincial Public Service Commission.

📍 Difficult Service Areas (For Marks Allocation)

Marks will be awarded for service in officially recognized difficult and very difficult areas as per departmental lists.

Applications must be sent by registered post on or before the closing date to the Secretary, Provincial Public Service Commission.
